Cooking on boat

One of the most exciting parts of a fishing trip is cooking your catch on board. There's nothing quite like the taste of fresh, locally caught fish, and there's no better way to enjoy it than right there on the boat. At Captain Tziros, we offer a unique opportunity to experience the thrill of fishing and the satisfaction of cooking your own catch. Our experienced crew will teach you how to catch fish using traditional methods, and we'll provide you with all the necessary equipment and ingredients to cook your fish on board. We offer a variety of cooking options, so you can choose the way you like your fish best. We can grill, fry, or bake your fish, and we can also prepare it in a traditional Greek manner.

Captain Tziros based in Corfu, started in 2018 founded by Captain Spiros and his two sons Babis and Christos.

This family business is driven by their passion for the sea.Every day Captain Spiros along with his sons Babis and Christos, are ready to guide you through a world of mystery and beauty in the waters of Corfu.
Together, the Tziros family works to provide their customers with an unforgettable fishing experience.

Our boats

Captain Spiros is a fisherman with over 50 years of experience in Corfu. He is passionate about fishing and the sea.
Our boats are traditional Greek wooden boats, built in Corfu ,in a traditional ship yard by Captain Spiros.
They meet all the required safety standards in accordance with the law of fishing tourism. All safety measures for adults and children are available on board.

We had a wonderful day fishing with Babis and his father. Plenty caught, many a good laugh and then polished off with a delicious meal of our catch on board, drinks included and a swim off the boat in one of the many beautiful bays near Kassiopi. These are genuinely lovely people who went out of their way to make sure our day was perfect. We will definitely do this again and recommend anyone to do this, even if you have never been fishing before. My daughter caught her first fish, right up to 10th fish today and I know will remember this all her life.

We had an amazing time! Captain Babis picked us up at the hotel. Then we went to different locations with the boat to catch some fish. After that while we were swimming, they prepared and cooked the fish and the we had an wonderful lunch. Everything was fresh, the grilled paprika was great! We met with lovely people, spent a really good time and also saw some doplhins. I would recommend to everybody!

We had a great day out a week ago. A few hours fishing then we swam in a peaceful bay with a beach that could only be reached by boat, while the crew of 3 cooked our catch. We were then treated to a delicious meal of snapper and sardines with a nice salad and good bread. No shortage of drinks to wash to all down. The boat was spotlessly clean and had lots of shade. We were a group of 6 and had tons of room. A group of 8 would be no problem. The crew were delightful and spoke good English. Plenty of guidance given to those fishing for the first time. A highly recommended day out and very good value compared to some skippered boat hires.

We contacted Captain Tziros via Facebook messenger and received a prompt response. Luckily there was availability so we went out fishing a day later. We were offered free transfers as we stayed north of the island.

Everyone was very friendly and professional and we had an amazing time! We saw dolphins and caught lots of fish. A few hours into the trip, we were taken to this beautiful spot where we could swim or just relax while our food was prepared. We were cooked the fish which was caught by everyone on the trip well as local produce - salad, grilled peppers, fruit. It was delicious! This was the best fishing trip for us and we'd definitely book again when visiting Corfu. Highly recommended!
